Aurigene employs both biochemical and cell-based assays for screening.
Aurigene has optimized biochemical assays for all major classes
of targets including kinases, proteases, phosphatases, diesterases,
dehydrogenases, and nucleases.
Cell-based assays at Aurigene include cell proliferation / apoptosis,
adipogenesis, reporter assays for transactivation and calcium flux
measurements. In addition FACS based assays are performed for cell
cycle analysis, cell surface expression of target proteins, drug
transport etc.
HTS is conducted in the 96-well or 384-well formats, using a TECAN liquid handling system integrated with a TECAN Ultra fluorescence microplate reader. Detection can be carried out in standard steady state fluorescence, polarization, time resolved fluorescence and luminescence modes.
Screening is carried out on Aurigene's target specific focused chemical libraries and/ or collaborator libraries.
